Taylor Swift on the Movie Role She’d Have to Play

Taylor Swift is no stranger to acting. She recently appeared on the season finale of FOX’s New Girl and has taken on characters in movies and on television in the past. But these days, it would take a lot to make her step away from music.

“I would love to do a movie that I was so obsessed with that I couldn’t think of anything other than shooting that movie,” she said. “If that happens, you will see pictures of me on set shooting that movie. And if you see me shooting a movie, you’ll know that I was so obsessed with the idea of it and the script and the story and felt that it was so important, that I couldn’t possibly not do it.”

For now though, Taylor’s top priority is her music and her RED Tour. “Because I love music and I love touring and I love seeing [fans] all the time it’s really hard to take time away from doing that,” she said. “I don’t like to, and so if I were to take time away from that to shoot a movie, I would be so in love with the movie that it would be impossible to turn down.”
