believe in a dream: JUST HUNG OUT WITH TAYLOR SWIFT!

I won a contest to be in the audience during her interview in Toronto at City TV! I sat in the front row! I was literally only 4 feet away from her. I can’t even cope with how amazing she is. When she walked into the room, she didn’t even seem real. She is SO beautiful in person. The most flawless person I’ve ever seen. She looked like a porcelain doll!

My goal here is to write down EVERYTHING I remember her saying/doing before I forget.

Her hair was straight and SUPER shiny. She was wearing a blue and green floral dress. 

She started off the interview by coming out at the wrong time. Afterward, they had to redo the intro! When she got up to do the intro again she cutely asked “Should I do anything differently this time?” 

She spoke about “Red” and why she entitled it so. The title came from a song she wrote called “Red”, after writing that song, the songs that followed it all fell under the same pattern of being “intense” and “emotionally charged.” 

She talked about the music video for WANEGBT and when asked about the one take production did a VERY adorable British impression of the director Declan Whitebloom! 

She talked about how she deals with being in the public eye, her friends, and what she does for fun. Apparently she is ALWAYS on the phone with her friends and is the type of person who needs to run everything by them. CityTV even had an exclusive video clip of Selena Gomez sending a little message to Taylor about how much she loves her! They then asked Taylor what she thought of Justin Bieber, Selena’s boyfriend! Taylor responded with “Can I talk about them? I’m so stoked for Justin. I remember when he came to my concert when he was fifteen and no one knew who he was. But now, everyone knows Justin Bieber!” 

More than anything else, she talked about food! She talked about how she can’t eat before a show. The morning of a concert she eats a BIG breakfast and then spends the last few songs of the night daydreaming about what she is going to order from room service afterward. The interviewer asked her about the last thing she cooked and Taylor went into delicious detail about a barbecue chicken, fire roasted green bean meal that had everyone’s mouth watering! She was also asked about her preference of “Salty or Sweet?” and Taylor responded with “both” as she explained, “If I have something sweet, I need something salty after. If I have something salty, I need something sweet after.” 

She talked about knitting and sewing and some other Taylor Swiftie things! 

She also brought up the tour and how although some dates and shows have been confirmed, it has not gotten to the planning process where she gets to decide what the stage or the setlist looks like. 

She talked about how she is sent into a trance whenever she goes antique shopping and how no one can reach her when she is in antique mode! She even told a story about how one time, she showed up to her friends apartment with boxes of antique furniture and decorated it for her! (“What are you doing with all those uh… boxes?” she cutely imitated!)

The interviewer asked her about Meredith! Meredith doesn’t travel over the border with her (because it’s hard for pets to go to different countries)! Apparently, Meredith doesn’t shed, doesn’t have hair balls, and in Taylor’s words is “…a mythical creature. She’s perfect!” 

I’m sure there is tons that I’m forgetting! The interview airs in October on CityTV Entertainment. All in all, I’m so happy to have gotten this experience because I know that I was closer to her on a more personal level than any concert. She was SO nice and sweet. She’s deserve every bit of success that comes her way because her music is just as wonderful as her character! :)
